About Authenticator Apps

LAS Boomers supports both text-message verification and authenticator apps. Text message is the default verification method for most users. An authenticator app is an optional alternative.

You only need one verification method. Many users choose an authenticator app for travel, international use, limited cell coverage, airplanes, or faster sign-in.

  • Works well for international travel
  • Does not depend on receiving a text message each time
  • Often faster than SMS codes
  • May be more convenient when cellular service is limited
