Archive Use Policy

LAS Boomers Digital Archive — Lahore American School Baby Boomer Years

This archive is a private, non-commercial historical archive for approved members of the LAS community.

1. Purpose of the Archive

The LAS Boomers Digital Archive was created to preserve and share historical Lahore American School yearbooks, student newspapers, photographs, and related materials for members of the LAS community.

2. Intended Audience

Access is limited to approved former students, faculty, staff, family members, and friends of the Lahore American School community.

3. Personal, Historical, and Educational Use

Materials are provided solely for personal historical, educational, research, and community purposes. Commercial use is prohibited without appropriate permission.

4. Redistribution Restrictions

Users may not publicly repost, republish, upload, distribute, sell, or commercially reproduce archive materials without appropriate permission. This includes posting pages or images from the archive to public websites, social media, file-sharing services, or discussion forums.

5. Privacy and Respectful Use

Archive materials may contain historical photographs, names, signatures, articles, personal references, and other content involving members of the LAS community. Users are expected to treat all materials respectfully and responsibly.

6. Historical Nature of Materials

These materials are historical documents. They may contain outdated terminology, incomplete information, student humor, opinions, or statements that reflect the time and circumstances in which they were created.

7. Removal, Restriction, or Correction Requests

Individuals who believe certain materials should be removed, restricted, credited differently, or otherwise reviewed may contact the System Administrator. Requests will be reviewed in good faith.

8. Account Access

Access may be suspended or revoked if a user violates this policy or uses the archive in a manner inconsistent with its private community purpose.
